학교에 대해…
Rochester Independent College는 1984년 수학자 브라이언 페인과 사이먼 드 벨더에 의해 개교되었는데요. 이 학교는 RIC로도 알려졌으며 주로 6학급으로 A레벨과 수학을 가르치는 학교로 시작을 하였습니다. 현재 이 캠퍼스는 로체스터 중심부에 있는 14개의 건물로 성장했으며, 이름을 로체스터 인디펜던트 칼리지로 바꾸어 다양한 과목을 가르치고 있으며 2007년에는 법대 또한 개교하며 더욱 활발하게 학생들을 가르치고 있는 학교로 성장하였습니다.
과학실, 사진 자료실, 체육관과 문화 시설등 다양한 편의 시설을 보유하고 있으며, RIC에 재학중인 학생들은 로체스터 주변의 편의 시설들과 문화 시설이 모여있는 곳에서 생활을 하게 됩니다. 약 15%의 학생들이 국제 학생들이며, 다양한 나라에서 매년 다양한 학생들이 공부 하기 위해 오는 곳이기도 합니다.
